Don't just take our word for it, BBK parts can be found under the hoods of thousands of Mustangs from coast to coast. BBK is know for making some of the highest quality cold air kits on the market!
So after about a week of use I can clearly feel the difference in the top end when you open up. I took my car out for a spin last night and finally got to play around a bit on the back roads and boy am I happy with the results! I caught myself smiling on a number of times on such a small and simple modification. At first glance after unboxing it, everything is nicely packed and seperated. The black finish is real nice. Other finishes feel delicate and could scratch easily, where as the finish on the BBK intake resembles and feels like bed liner for a truck though not plastic in anyway. The intake tubes are made out a thin metal and surprisingly weigh much lighter than I thought with some of the previous reviews I have read complaining about weight. The blue rubber connectors are nice and durable and fit great over the tubes with no issues like some of the other intakes I have bought in the past. They do though feel a bit flimsy even with the clamps fully tightened on the intake but not structurally threatening. The high flow filter is nice and solid, not much to say about it as it the same as all the other BBK intakes I've installed. Comes with nice quality hardware too. Install was fast and pretty straight forward although there are two small little bumps during install. The small rubber breather hose it comes with is a bit on the small side and has a hard time fitting over both the plastic tubing and the intake inlet itself. After an hour sitting in the sun, the material softened up and was able to get it in. Another part is that the larger hose that connects up to your throttle body will now be too short to fully reach the intake tube. This was a simple fix with a quick trip to the auto parts store to pick up some longer tubing of the same size for just a couple bucks. (You can see the longer hose in the picture.) Other than the small hiccup with the tubing, the install was fast and easy and only took maybe 20 minutes at most. The black finish really made this intake stand out and make the engine bay look great! Now going to car shows won't be so dull now that I have a reasson to prop the hood up! All in all, this so far has been my favorite intake that I have bought for any of my Mustangs and would highly recommend one to anyone looking for a high quality and good looking intake for their Mustang.
Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend!

Best out there
I recommend this to everyone looks great and really opens up you sn95 instant gains even with out the tune. I complemented my bbk intake with the 78mm bbk throttle body/plenum and it has really woken up my 4.6, throttle response, horse power and torque were increased it was like night and day and I haven't even tuned it yet but once I do I'm sure it will take my car to the next level
This is in general to all the CAI's and short ram intakes I have a 96 GT and mine has the stock brace from the factory therefore I was wondering would I have to remove it before even considering an intake since it does seem like all the aftermarket intakes are slightly higher than the stock one Asked by Jose O.from Phoenix | Comment00
Best Answer: In my experience, most will interfere with the stock braces. Every car is going to be a little bit different, but you may run into that issue. Answered by Jay W.from waco | Comment10
This CAI will fit under brace with no problem....however you may run into issues with after market intake manifolds. I have seen pictures of the Typhoon intake under stock braces but Trick Flow might require removal.
Will this C.A.I. clear my Steeda STB? I've seen multiple different answers. Thank you. Asked by Brandon R.from Wintr Garden | Comment00
Best Answer: There is nothing on this kit that would cause interference with the strut tower bar. I would only be concerned if you are changing the throttle body and intake plenum at the same time. Answered by David B.from Hewitt | Comment00

As a deployed service member, there are not many avenues of contacting companies back home conveniently. Between the time difference and use of wifi or morale phones, it can be challenging. Luckily the team at LateModel Restoration emailed me back quickly and gave me everything that I needed for a smoothe purchase, and a few more that followed. They were quick in reply and quick to help me out and I have my parts on the way to my home now because of it. I will be shopping here primarily and I recommend it highly to fellow Mustang folks.
