Best of all the BBK headers are manufactured right here in the USA. Their years of experience and Mustang knowledge have led to great fit and finish!
BBK offers both long tube and shorty style headers for all 1979 to present Mustangs. This includes the 5.0L push rod engine found in Fox Body Mustangs, 4.6L SOHC & DOHC engines found in the SN95 and New Edge platforms and even the newer 3.7L V6 and 5.0L Coyote engines found in the S197 Stangs! You can rest assured that they will be one of the first to market with 2015 Mustang exhaust options as well. All headers are offered in chrome and ceramic coatings.
If you're looking to swap out the factory exhaust manifolds on your Mustang for a set of aftermarket headers, you need to take a close look at the offerings from BBK Performance. They're manufactured proudly right here in the USA using state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. That way you get the best fit and finish every time.
They're available in a couple of different configurations, one being the very common short style header, often known as shorty header. They're intended to be a direct replacement for your factory manifolds, and attached to your factory mid-pipe or any aftermarket mid-pipe that was designed to fit factory manifolds. These are also available in the long tube header design, which will give you more power and torque, and they're designed to be used with BBK's matching mid-pipe, either H or X, your choice.
Any header is available in a brilliant chrome finish, or the high performance ceramic coating. Every BBK header features a thick laser-cut flange and heavy wall seamless drawn tubing. And when you open the box you've got a brand new set of exhaust gaskets and all needed installation hardware.

You're going to have a decision to make when it comes to selecting a new set of headers for your Mustang-- shorties or long tubes. Well, I'm going to go ahead and put it out there, before we get into the differences, that long tubes do make more power and torque versus a shorty header. So why would anybody ever purchase a shorty header? There's actually several reasons.
We all know that factory manifolds are restrictive and not the best for making power. Shorty headers do remove most of the restrictions and add in larger diameter tubing. That way, you get the extra exhaust flow, which is going to give you your more power.
Shorty headers also offer a lower price point compared to long tube headers, and they're a direct replacement design, meaning they'll bolt directly to your factory cylinder head and to your existing mid pipe; you don't have to change that out. Also, another big plus is you'll have plenty of working room later, down the road, when it comes time to service your Mustang, be it a simple starter replacement or a complete clutch job.
If you're the type of person that likes to eke out every last horsepower from your Mustang, then you need to look at the long tube header design. The downsides to the long tube header revolve around the fact that they take up more space, meaning there's less room to work later down the road when it comes time to service your Mustang. This could make a simple starter swap a lot more compact, and it sometimes even requires that you loosen or completely remove a long tube header to service your transmission or clutch.
Luckily, the majority of long tube headers available today will fit your Mustang without any major modifications, meaning you're not going to have to beat up your frame rails or floor pan to get them to clear. Long tube headers allow the exiting exhaust poles to help pull in the incoming air fuel charge, also known as the scavenging effect. This is where the majority of their added power and torque come from. Regardless of the header design you choose, latemodelrestoration.com is your choice for Mustang exhaust upgrades.
Great looking and sounding, but lacking in the gasket department.

I bought these headers for my 1995 5.0 Mustang because I was pulling the engine and wanted something fun to do! Only problem was that BBK supplied really crappy paper header gaskets! Not wanting my car to leak in 5 months, I had to purchase separate gaskets from a local auto store, which took 2 days to get in stock, further delaying my engine getting back in my car. They do fit great and look and sound awesome though, just not happy with spending an extra 20 dollars on good header gaskets.
Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend!

I bought this product and it was nice except for the fact that there were no header studs or anything except the headers and the bolts for the headers to connect to the block. Had to call latemodelrestoration and get them to send me the header studs took another 5 days to get those
Sometimes boxes are damaged in shipping and contents can be lost or a vendor may make a mistake and accidentally leave something out. It sounds like your issue was resolved quickly with a call and replacement hardware sent.

The stock manifolds were more difficult to remove that it was to install these. Exhaust note changed a little for the better and my '94 pulled slightly better above 4000rpms. Great entry level header in my opinion.
