I have a 92 lx mustang with a 302 out of a explorer dropped in it and was wondering if these headers will fit on that motor, not sure what headers on now but they go into a x pipe then to flowmaster 40s and are dumped before the axle. It's just a loud drone noise all the time. Just wondering if it cause the block is out of a explorer or if I need something different for my exhaust. Please help thanks!

The block isnt the issue. It's the heads. More than likely the heads are the GT40P, to gain adequate clearance around the spark plug, I'd recommend using the Ford Racing headers, M9430P50

As long as they are X heads, these will work just fine. Its the P heads that had a different spark plug placement and can cause fitment issues.

I'm going to convert the stock original single exhaust over to dual exhaust on my '83 5.0 w/T5 manual transmission-would there be any fitment issues if I used these headers, like with spark plugs or oil dipstick location. If not these, any recommendations? TKS!

These headers will work just fine on your car, they will bolt to your factory mid pipe and with their mid pipes if you decide to upgrade later down the road.
