Remove 6 lbs. from your 87-93 fox body's firewall and convert your power brakes to a manual setup with this conversion kit from ASP! This kit includes the master cylinder brake rod and adapter plate. Minor bending of the hard lines is required. Great option for drag cars! Retains use of your stock master cylinder.
I'm not sure if I did get a defective pushrod but LRS assured me that ASP only makes one length, because the push rod was about a half inch shorter than I needed. The pedal sat way lower than the clutch pedal. LRS also told me the depth of the master cylinder piston for a 90 mustang which I measured mine and that was the same depth so I was still confused. The car did have Turbocoupe rear brakes but was done before I got the car so I'm not sure if my master cylinder was different in some way. I ended up drilling and tapping the business end of the push rod and making it adjustable with the rod end coming out of the booster. Works great now and the rod is going into the master straight since ASP's rod has the offset eyelet. The car won't be on the road for a while and has 99-04 front brakes so I can't attest to the feel of the manual brakes.

Well me and my girlfriend had a day off and decided to take a road trip to Late Model Restoration. Let me tell you, we had the best CUSTOMER SERVICE ever. Jay was very helpful and knowledgeable about the parts I purchased. The showroom was clean and inviting. Also I got to meet JMAC that host's all of their YouTube videos. They also had project BLUE COLLAR in the parking lot, and it is NICE. I will recommend Late Model to everyone I know...
