These work well with the Trickflow twisted wedge heads. As for piston to valve clearance, you should be fine, but it will depend on where you run timing at. We still recommend checking ptv since every application is a bit different.

Per Rick Anderson, who is the person who created this cam, he says this is the BEST cam for gt40 heads. It is even in the description of the cam.

I got a 90 gt 5.0 with gt 40 tubular upper intake,75mm throttle body, bbk cold air intake, off road h-pipe with flow master mufflers, and currently has a E303 cam, stock heads but the exhaust humps have been cut out and worked, and computer chip with good aggressive tune. I am a highschool student and I don't have a big budget. So will this help much with my stock heads that has had some massaging done.

This cam should work well with a set of stock heads that have been modified to flow better. It will be a little more aggressive cam profile than the E303 cam you currently have.
