2000 Ford Lightning - Ryan Wood

I bought the truck with 100k miles on it, withing 4 months I shot the number 6 plug out of the head twice. I deployed soon after (USMC) and starting buying parts. The motor is bored .20 over, manly rods, CP pistons, balanced blueprinted and forged parts. new heads, small port job. 4lb lower pulley on stock supercharger, single blade throttle body, long tube headers, gibson exhaust with custom midpipe. it's tuned and dynod with an SCT tuner. purchased a 3/4 drop using beltech coil springs and hotchkiss rear springs with hangers. purchased nitto 55R street slicks for the back and 55T's for the front. hood (no paint) tailgate (no paint) which was recently stolen, roll pan (no paint). I ordered the hood, headers, throttle body, carpet and some suspension parts from Latemodel and was pleased with the service. Next mods include new seats, buckets with console. elecric water pump and fans, new intercooler and radiator and nitrous. my long term goals is a shaved and complete Flat Blue lightning with flat black wheels running mid to high 10's in the 1/4 mile. I ran an 1/8th mile on street tires at 8.58 @ 91mph.(no traction) I am planning a trip to the san antonio dragstrip here in Texas to see what the 1/4 mile time is. once i got out of the military a few months ago i started attending school at Texas State full time so my priorities have shifted some, but I haven't lost sight of my final goals
