2006 Mustang GT Premium - Douglas Wance
I've wanted one of the newer retro style Mustangs ever since they came out in 2005. It took me a few years, but in October of 2013, I was finally able to get my hands on this used but gorgeous, tungsten gray metallic, well maintained 2006 Mustang GT Premium. 53,240 miles on her with a 4.6 liter V8 power plant and gray leather interior. The color was just one of the many selling points for me. Since bringing her home, I've been doing as many mods as I can do on her, here and there on my limited budget. I had a good start from the previous owner with them having a tuned Gibson dual exhaust system installed (no Cats), K&N air raid set up, New Sumotomo Tires and a Performance pre-tuned flash tuner set up specifically to my car. I've since then added a Ford Racing lower A-arm brace, GT mirror Logo Strut tower brace, Mustang logo Hood struts, front textured matte black lower valance, sequential tinted tail lights w/ matte black tail light trim, matte black deck lid panel, California style side window louvers and side scoops, retro style side mirrors, Carbon fiber extendable from 3" to 7" shorty antenna, Matte Black dual rally style hood stripes, new brakes and rotors all around. The interior I upgraded the rear view manual dimming mirror to a Ford OEM auto dimming rear view mirror with compass, 7" touch screen stereo with Nav, ipod, video, phone mirroring, video, back up camera, tire sensors, you name it, it's got it! New pioneer 6"x8" speakers front and rear, dual 12" "Shaker" 2000 watt subwoofer enclosure with a 2000 watt mono sub amplifier, Changed out the original crappy automatic shifter to an awesome TCI Street Fighter Ratchet Shifter with Bullitt aluminum satin finish GT logo bezel, GT graphics added to the head rests and Ford Running Horse logo ghost lights on the door panels so when I open the doors up at night, the logo is projected onto the ground. My biggest upgrade so far is my new Ford OEM GT500 rear bumper cover with lower diffuser built in that I bought here from Late Model Restoration Parts. It's beautiful and I'm just waiting on getting it painted so I can gett'er installed. I'll definitely be posting pictures of it when it's done! I'll keep updating this list as I continue adding more mods. I don't know what she'll do at the track yet, but I'm determined to find out soon. Thanks for looking and Enjoy!!!
