1982 Mercury Capri RS - Tom Longerbeam
I have had my Capri for over 10 years now. It has a 95' 302 crate motor with a F-303 cam, BBK long tube headers, BBK X-Pipe, Modified Holley Carb, T-5 Transmission, 3:73 gears, and Ford Racing Carbon Fiber Air Cleaner. When I first purchased the car from the original owner he told me it had always had a harmonic vibration from the drivetrain and nobody could ever find it. I sold the Capri to my father in law for a short period and while he owned the car it broke the crankshaft at the 2 journal, needless to say we found the source of the vibration and that is how it came about getting the crate motor !!!
