My '89 LX 5.0 (SSP) Notchback is a 2x retired Police vehicle. It first served as an unmarked Florida Highway Patrol car (#144) issued to a Troop A Lt. I am in constant contact with Lt Moore in order to restore it back to it's original "in-service" condition. After being retired by the FHP in 1991 it was auctioned off to the Fort Walton Police and turned into a marked unit. Turning into a marked unit required painting it all white and applying Ft Walton PD decals. It was in service for approximately 10 years before being auctioned off to the first civilian owner. Prior to his death the owner had it painted back to it's original medium shadow blue metallic color. The owner had willed it to his sister who then sold it to Mustang SSP collector who then sold it to me.
******See Attachment The Trooper Connection article, page #2, was written by the FHP Lt who it was issued to. Lt Moore was President of the American Association of State Troopers and his article explains our connection. Thanks for looking,
