I have restored this 89 LX 5.0 from ground up. All suppension with upper and lower control arms, every bushing replaced,new powersteering rack with new inner tierods with outter bump steer since I lowered the car two inches. New 17 inch Cobra R wheels around back and 16 in front since the fender well are smaller due to the 15 inch originals wheels. I gutted the cars interior and built is back up from group up. I have 86 GT Racrro seats getting done now but with the 89 tall back material so they will match the back seat. I love the Halo on the 86 GT seats. Motor is a 331 stroker,Windage tray, DSS Rotating assembly computer balanced, GSX X Groved pistons, Anderson N71 cam, Trick Flow twisted wedge 185 track heat heads, and to bump up the springs to support the cam. 90mm Trick Flow R upper and lower intake with a one inch spacer between them. 1.6 roller rockers, trick flow pushrods, 90mm throtlebody, Anderson Powerpipe, 80mm Mass Air with Pro M sensor for the 30 pound Trick Flow fuel injectors, BBK fuel rails and a Kirbin adjustabel fuel presure and gauge, Full MSD products. Trick Flow large valve covers with K&N breathers, BBk equal length headers, BBK Xpipe, Flowmaster 44 seriers cat back system. Just ordered from Moates a quarterhorse module to change tune to make car run correctly and be able to take full advantage of my MSD system. My stang has 373 in the rear end. After the tune ready to see what it can do Naturally asspirated. wanna have a fun powerfull car I can still drive around the streets to enjoy my ride. thinking of moveing into road racing. I plan to have this car in magazines once painted. Bad to the bone.
