A few weeks ago I found a raggedy 1990 Mustang GT Hatch that was on Ebay but local. I got to go see the car and was unimpressed. It needed LOTS of work. Well this is my 7th Mustang and I've become pretty good at getting things back together. The motor is the stock 5.0 but has perfect compression after 185000 mi. I had to tear the entire front brake and suspension apart. The car came with new Eibach springs and KYB shocks plus a BBK CAI and a BBK x pipe to Flows. I blew the intake gasket the first day, and found a leaking heater core too. I've repaired and re-routed things and now the car is HOT. I added some 17" 98 cobra wheels with 255/40 17 nitto 555's. I have full auto meter pod and monster tach with shift light. I replaced all the spark plugs and wires, MSD cap/rotor. New gates serp, Electric fan had to be wired to my ashtray switch panel. I had to order new lock actuators and key tumblers. I have ordered a JVC touch screen player and have all the amps and subs ready to install. Paint will be soon. I spraybombed all the trim for now and have weather strip on order. I am beginning my list to build a DSS 331 stroker, I already have the block. Everything is tip top now and I am only at $3000 total including the car price. Oh, new tint keeps that desert heat out of my face. I am now ready to go to Midnight drags in 1 week and see what I can pull off. I have a bad 1-2 synchro so my time will suck for now. Love that hurst short throw and drifting around corners behind the local parts store. I bought $1000 worth of parts there! Too bad there arent more stangers in Utah, Everyone puts 20" wheels and faggy fiberglass bumpers that are always cracked. For some reason, 90% of the SN95 stangs have the wing delete..... Hmmm, that looks real gay with 20"'s and big bumpers. I need to move back east again. No car shows here, I have to go to vegas to see shows. Utah sux. Drive it hard!!!!
