1987 Ford Mustang GT Convert - Jason Beek

This is my first mustang and car build. I have worked on a lot of motorcycles but found this 100% stock GT last year. It had 85k, two owners and was a garage queen so it was a perfect starting point. I upgraded the fuel pump and put on MM full length sub frame connectors before anything else. Exhaust, basic intake mods and a tune up were the first performance mods (Hooker super comp headers, new cats, X pipe, flowmasters, MSD, CAI, Plugs...) Next was freeing up extra horse power with Under drive pullies, Taurus electic fan with DCC controller. I put a new radiator, larger water pump, 180 thermostat, and 160 AMP alternator to work on keeping power and the car cool (it never gets above 190 deg). Last weekend was a big build with the 5 lug conversion. Some of the highlights; 18" wheels 245 front 275 rear, fox length axles, 3.73 ford gears, rebuilt posi, 04 cobra front calipers with 13" brembo caliper, 94/95 spindles, SN95 rear brakes, Steeda LCA, Adjustable UCA, Eibach Pro Kit, MM Caster Camber plates, Cobra MC and all SS lines. I am going to work on dialing in the suspension and brakes over the next month or so then its time to put on my AFR165 heads and GT40 intake.
