2011 Ford Mustang - Steve Creech


My Mustang is a 2011 V6 Premium (3.7L) with an auto trans and standard 2.73 gears. I have added a performance pack engine cover and a JLT carbon fiber intake. It has a black leather interior, Shaker 500 audio with Sync. It has the polished aluminum wheels (would black Bullitt wheels look better?) stripe delete, and the small spoiler. It ran a best of 14.5 sec. in the quarter mile, but ran slower (air leak, my bad) after the CAI install. I have not made it back to the track to re-test.
My plans include an SCT tuner, BBK headers and catted X-pipe, Roush mufflers and a set of 3.73 gears. NOS may follow. On the outside, I plan on a Roush rear valance, smoked tail & marker lamps and a scooped hood (undecided).
I love that my car is Jet Black, and the polished wheels give it some contrast. I still go back and forth on the Bullitt wheels, though. I started out with a brand "C" for a first car, but the new Ford engines are out of this world! A true 21st century powerplant.
At the car show (pics) I was parked between a GT 500, and a DUB Roush (also w/ v6), and I still took first place for modern ('82 to present) Mustangs. The judges said later that my car was clean and beautiful, with just the right amount of bling. I was shocked!
This car is my daily driver, but I'd like to get it into the 13's and win another car show!
