Interesting story- On second engine with this car at 3000 miles and first trip to the track with this car and on the third pass comp cam rocker cam off..hit the valve spring releasing the keepers..dropped a valve ruined the trickflow head, bent the rod, and scored the block.
The car ran 115 at 12.68 best pass but didnt really have time to play as it had the engine failure.
I removed this engine and Paxton supercharger set up and it currently has the GT-40 crate engine with a ZEX kit.
Parts- 5 lug conversion done with Cobra brakes, new shocks , struts, castor camber plates, Tremec 5-speed, aluminum drive shaft, 373 gears, all the normal engine bolt -ons to the new 306 crate engine. Zex kit Car has Cervini Cobra R hood, new trunk lid, suede roof, styling bar, black leather interior. Autometer gauge cluster, Taylor battery set up in the trunk etc. etc..
