2001 Ford Mustang GT Convertible - Gary Horn


My '01 GT is mostly stock with a few minor exceptions. The engine is completely stock (4.6, 260HP), automatic transmission will be pulled soon so I can drop in a T56. I drive it a LOT more than I had anticipated when I first bought it in 2008. It's just too much fun to leave parked when the sun is out!

The car is lowered ~1.75" with Eibach springs. Brakes were redone last year with slotted rotors and ceramic pads along with painted (G2 System) calipers. The stock wheels were also replaced at the same time with anthracite center/polished lip FR500's. I'm running 17" X 9" (275-40/17) in front, and 17" X 10.5" (315-35/17) in the rear, wrapped in Nitto 555's.

Only other mods so far include a Mach I Grill delete, hood struts (No more prop-rod!!), a shorty antenna, and a Roush toolbox in the trunk. I'm planning on a cat-back system later this spring when it warms up, a light bar, and possibly a Saleen Speedster cover if I can find one!
