1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 - Chris Murphy
Purchased this car in 2007 with 220k miles on it. Drove it as a daily driver for two years until the original engine decided it was permanent nap time. I decided to build it into an American Iron race car originally, but soon got to involved in making the engine bay show worthy....still might race it, who knows. I spent the last 3 years tearing it down to a bare chassis and building it back up to "beast mode" specs. Mods are as follows:
Engine- 308ci, AFR 165's by Keith Craft racing, 1.6 roller rockers, Trick Flow stage 2 cam, ported Typhoon manifold, 70mm throttle body, 24lb injectors, gilmer belt drive, stainless Pypes shorties, Canton 7qt road race pan, all fastened by ARP.
Chassis/suspension- UPR k-member, manual quick ratio rack, BBK camber plates, Racecraft 2" drop spindles, Kenny Brown extreme matrix subframe connectors, Griggs Racing extreme duty torque arm, Fays 2 watts link, rear from a 96 GT w/3.73's, custom fabricated front & rear strut tower braces, AGX adjustable struts/shocks, front coilovers w/12" 300lb springs, Maximum Motorsports rear height adjustable LCA's, 500lb rear springs.
Wheels/tires- front are 18x9 GT4's, rears are 18x10.5 with BFG KDW tires.

Car will tuck front and rear wheels, but the rear quarter's will be cut and flared for more clearance.
